How can I factor for 1.0% with my Outgo Card?

Drop your factoring rate to 1.0% on purchases with the Outgo Card.

What qualifies as a purchase with the Outgo Card?

When using your Outgo Debit Card, always select “credit” at the point of sale. If the option isn’t available, eligibility depends on the merchant.

If eligible, funds will be drawn from your factorable balance first, even if you have a checking balance. This ensures you always get the lowest rate on your factorable funds.

What does not qualify for 1.0% factoring with the Outgo Card?

Debit transactions or card based transfers do not qualify for 1.0% factoring. When a purchase does not qualify, we will attempt to use your checking balance.

For example, if you use your Outgo Debit Card to fund another card's balance it likely won't qualify. In this case, your Outgo Card is transferring funds to an external account which is not processed as a card purchase.

How come my transaction was declined even though there are funds in my factorable balance?

There are several types of transactions that must be funded in totality by your checking balance. To do this simply open your Outgo app and factor your funds on-demand to your checking balance.

These transaction types include:
• ATM & cash withdrawals
• ACH Pulls
• Non-purchase card transactions
