Find work and get paid with DAT and Outgo’s all-in-one payments network
When we started Outgo, we set out to build the next-generation financial platform that would transform the freight industry. We're proud of everything we've done in the past four years—built an amazing team, achieved industry-leading for funding speeds, and developed a product that saves our customers time and money. All that hard work and innovation brought us to what we’re going to announce today. Outgo was just acquired by DAT Freight & Analytics!
What we’ll build together
"By joining DAT, we're going to do more than bring faster payments and lower costs for carriers everywhere," said Marcus Womack, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Outgo. "We're also going to be joining a trusted, forward-thinking company determined to build a better future for the freight industry."
Pairing the largest load board with an industry-leading payment and financial service means big things are coming to the DAT One freight platform. Our fast, transparent, AI-powered payments are now available on industry's most trusted marketplace. This addition will help DAT take another step toward a more connected, efficient, and transparent platform where businesses can find work and get paid all in one place.
What does this mean for carriers?
For starters, carriers can now look for a blue checkmark in [DAT One - link to page] to determine if a broker is eligible for factoring. If you don’t have a DAT One account you can sign up today here.
The innovations we’ll develop and the impact they’ll make on the freight industry will be on a much greater scale so expect exciting developments and new features.
What's next for the Outgo team?
Outgo staff will join DAT, but will continue to operate out of their Seattle office as a distinct product within DAT. Co-founder and CEO Marcus Womack will join DAT's executive team.
While these updates are exciting, rest assured our focus is the same. We remain committed to the same mission—to build a trusted and secure payments network that connects all of freight.
